Genesis Flight College is proud to announce the acquisition of a state-of-the-art 737 Flight Training Device (FTD), designed to significantly enhance the training experience for its aspiring commercial pilots. The Flight Deck Solutions B737MAX-FTD, a fixed-based simulator tailored specifically for the Boeing 737 MAX, offers students an immersive and cost-effective learning platform.
The B737MAX-FTD will be incorporated into the Integrated Airline Transport Pilot License program (iATPL), providing the multi-crew platform necessary to train for entry into the jet world.
This advanced FTD provides numerous benefits for students, including the following:
- Cost-Effective Training: Offers an economical alternative to full-motion simulators, reducing training costs without compromising on quality.
- Realistic Cockpit Environment: Replicates the Boeing 737 MAX cockpit precisely, allowing students to familiarize themselves with aircraft systems and procedures.
- Comprehensive Scenario Support: Enables training on normal operations, emergency procedures, and systems management, fostering confidence and proficiency.
- Enhanced Learning Outcomes: Minimizes physical motion distractions, promoting focused and effective skill retention.
“Integrating the FDS-B737MAX-FTD into our curriculum represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering high-quality pilot training,” said David Gascoine, president at Genesis Flight College. “This technology not only improves learning efficiency but also enhances safety by providing realistic, hands-on experience.”
Genesis Flight College remains dedicated to advancing aviation education and maintaining the highest standards of pilot training. The new simulator is set to be operational in November 2025, supporting the next generation of skilled and confident aviators.
