WHY SHOULD YOU GET AN INSTRUMENT RATING?
Without a doubt, an instrument rating will make any pilot better. Instrument flight training develops a more comprehensive understanding of many topics introduced in private pilot training while adding instrument specific knowledge into the mix. Additionally, with an instrument rating, flight opportunities are no longer restricted to only flying on clear weather days. Instrument rated Pilots can file an IFR flight plan enabling flight through clouds and making flights through difficult airspace much easier.
When you complete your IFR training through us, you can do when it is most convenient for you in Collingwood, ON.
At Genesis Flight College, we offer many different IFR training options in the Collingwood, Ontario area. We can create a custom package just for you, and plan a schedule that fits your commitments. We can train in your aircraft, or in our Diamond DA40, DA42, or Diamond DA20.
In addition to a flexible and custom schedule, you can also enroll in our maximum value IFR training program. This allows you to use the maximum allowable simulator time to ensure that your costs remain low. All of your time in our immersive certified ELITE G1000 simulator is loggable.

Please keep in mind that an instrument rating can only be issued for aircrafts in one of three groups. For example, Group 1 is for all airplanes where the flight test was completed in a multi-engine airplane, while Group 3 is given in situations where the flight test was completed in a single engine airplane.
