Our core aviation education program is designed to be completed in 12 to 14 months and includes four modules:

  • Private Pilot Licence— The private pilot licence portion of our program requires a minimum of 45 hours of flying and over 100 hours of classroom education. While earning this licence, you will take courses covering topics such as theory of flight, airframes, decision-making, human factors in flying, and more.
  • Commercial Pilot Licence—To obtain this licence, you will need to complete 65 hours of structured flight training and about 150 hours of ground school instruction. As you work towards earning this licence, you will focus on broadening your skills to include emergency procedures, night flying, and instrument flying.
  • Instrument Rating— While working on your Group 1 Instrument Rating, you will complete 40 to 45 hours of flying and simulator time and 20 hours of ground school.
  • Multi-Engine Rating– This involves about 30 hours of ground school and 20 hours of either flying or simulator time.
