Do you have little to no flight experience but want to learn how to fly? At Gensis Flight College, our cadet program is an iATPL course offered in partnership with Flair Airlines. Upon selection, you will receive a conditional letter of employment from Flair Airlines. Here’s how to make this happen.
- Fill out the application—To apply for our cadet program, you must take a short aptitude test and personality profile. You can submit your initial interest information for free, but to complete the formal application, the fee is $200.
- Interview with the airline—If your application for our cadet program is chosen, you will be invited to undergo an interview with the airline. If you are chosen for the program, you will receive a conditional letter of employment at this point.
- Complete basic flight training—You will earn your private pilot licence and complete the first three stages of the iATPL program.
- Continue with the selection process—After finishing the initial stages of the cadet program, you will undergo additional testing with the airline. If you do not progress further with the cadet program at this point, you can continue with the normal iATPL track.
- Complete advanced flight training—You will then complete stages 4 through 8 of your training. These will include multi-engine training, multi-crew training, and other forms of advanced training.
- Take to the skies—Once you successfully complete all phases of your training, you will become a First Officer with Flair Airlines on the 737 MAX.
