What is it like to be part of our airline cadet program? We recently interviewed one of our program participants, who was prompted to apply at the onset of the pilot shortage a few years ago. After watching the news and learning about our program, she knew she needed to be a part of it.
One of the things she enjoys most about the program is that it goes beyond a simple school environment – you are constantly working with experienced flight instructors and state-of-the-art aircraft. While the program does require recruits to come and be ready to work, she recommends coming to the program not afraid to show off your personality and who you really are.
This recruit is not from Collingwood, but she relocated for the 18-month duration of the program. She enjoys how beautiful the area and its many beaches are and the amenities it offers.
